Cutover
Hard switch to a new system.
Cutover replaces the legacy system instead of running parallel. Lechmann switched from long-used industry software to Farrox ERP. In German used-parts trade, Cutover is an everyday term. Recyclers should use it consistently in the team and ERP so search, eBay listings, and customer communication align. Technically correct maintenance saves inquiries and reduces returns. Document relevant attributes in structured fields instead of free text only. Train new staff specifically on this term, especially at vehicle intake and part capture.
