HSN/TSN
Key numbers from the registration document.
Manufacturer and type key numbers enable KBA lookups for model and engine. They complement VIN at intake and for part compatibility. In German used-parts trade, HSN/TSN is an everyday term. Recyclers should use it consistently in the team and ERP so search, eBay listings, and customer communication align. Technically correct maintenance saves inquiries and reduces returns. Document relevant attributes in structured fields instead of free text only. Train new staff specifically on this term, especially at vehicle intake and part capture.
